This was so exciting for me. I found out this was the first time that an artist has won both awards! Best of Show and Artist Choice (voted on by the artists) The painting sold immediately too. I am working on a new “wolf” so you can see the progression.
I painted this while in Colorado this September from a photo. I used pastels both hard and soft on Ampersand pastel board.
